07/05/12
- A system update for the website has been added to the homepage.
02/04/12
- Mr Christophe Hollange recently emailed us some photos of 'Night Ferry Car 3984', a car we knew existed but without definite knowledge of its location. The photos can be found in the Picture Archive.
05/03/12
- Rik Degruyter has kindly provided us with some information on 'WR 4230', which unfortunately seems to have disappeared since its last sighting in 2011. We presume that it has been sold for scrap.
22/02/12
- Mr Rik Degruyter has recently informed us of the purchase of 'WR 4250' from a private owner in Vienna. A page has been created in our Picture Archive to show future progress.

- We now have a small Ebay shop, selling any railway books and small items we no longer require. The money from the sales will be used to fund IRPS projects. To access the shop please click the 'Ebay' button on the main menu. Please check back for regular updates.

- The 'Contact Us' page has been updated to include a postal address and directions to the railway.
- A link to Northumbria Rail's Facebook page has been added to the 'Links' page. Northumbria Rail are the owners of the Swedish Railbus.

- Two new websites have been added to the links page. They are, the National Railway Museum of Denmark and the National Railway Museum of the Netherlands.
- Update to 'Frank's' Restoration progress: Unfortunately we have decided to put the project on hold for the time being. Please check the new restoration page for 'Frank' for more details. 'Diesel Shunter 2896 - Frank'.

- Our AGM in Simpelveld was a success, so we would like to take this opportunity to thank our host Jos Geilen and his staff at the ZLSM for an excellent weekend. Article to follow shortly.
- Three new pages have been added to the database and picture archive, they are; 'Possible Cars' - showing cars that possibly exist but with no evidence, '1700 WR Teak' - Confirmed to exist by a member at our AGM (no photos at present) & '1883 WR Teak' - In the Eisenbahn museum - Bochum, Germany, which we visited after the AGM.

- On the 27th of September 2011, Christies, Paris, auctioned off artifacts from the Compagnie Internationale des Wagons-lits archive.

- A new Wagon-Lits has been added to the Picture Archive, Number 'YTb 3929'.

- Our list of Wagons-Lits vehicles that are thought to still exist has been extensively updated. You can view the list by clicking 'HERE'. If you spot any mistakes or can fill in any missing information, please contact us.

- Three new coaches added to the picture archive. They are; 'VR 2855', 'VR 4267' & 'VR 4269'. The information and photos for these coaches was kindly given to use by Mr Martijn Heijink, who is a volunteer at the Veluwsche Stoomtrein Maatschappij (VSM) heritage railway - Netherlands where these coaches are based.

- New restoration updates for 'VR 2975' & 'YTb 3916' can now be found at their respective pages. Also included are some new photos of last years work on 3916's page.
- A page has been uploaded to explain the new IRPS Enterprise Initiative which has been in operation for a few weeks now. You can find out all about this exciting new development 'HERE'.
- Our 'Facebook Page' is flourishing, remember to drop by for short updates regarding restoration, developments and this website.

- The first photo of the new 'NORD Express Display' at Wansford has been added to the 'Homepage'. More photos and articles to follow.

- A new photo of Restaurant Car 2975 has been added to the 'VR 2975 Restoration Page' to show the side of the coach that until recently was away from the public view. The coach has been pulled out and moved to platform 1 for the time being to allow other stock to be shunted.

- The 'Golden Arrow' service page is once again live after an update to the text and the addition of some photos.
- We have also reformatted the 'Night Ferry' page and included some new photos. A few of the cars in the table have also received status updates.
- One new photo that was recently acquired has been attached to Night Ferry Car '3801 F's' page and another to the 'SUD Express' service page.

- We are now on Facebook! Visit our new page by clicking this 'link' or the Facebook logo on the menu. The page will be used to promote the society further and to show minor updates. A post will be made whenever new updates to this site are ready. Be sure to 'Like' us while your there!

- Five more coaches have been to the Picture Archive. Numbers;'VR 2752', 'VR 2760' and 'VR 2764' were all discovered at Les Ifs in France a few years ago by Mr P. Toiserriout. It has yet to be confirmed if they are still at this site.
- The remaining two coaches are Number; '4013 WSPC Fleche d'or' and '1280 Fourgon'. We know that '4013' has been restored, but unfortunately it was recently sold and its present location is unknown. If anybody knows of this coaches present location the information would be gratefully received. '1280' was sadly scrapped at Oostende before any plans to save it were ever made.

- A Happy New Year to all of our visitors. Here is the first big update of the year: First of all the society was sad to hear that Teak coach No. WR2101 has been scrapped at Oostende in Belgium. A new picture confirming this can be found on the 'WR 2101' page.
- With help from some of our members we have updated the location and status of some of the coaches throughout the site as well as making corrections to some minor mistakes.
- A 2009 updates archive has been added at the bottom of this page. Click 'HERE' to jump to the bottom.
- We have been made aware of the existence of three new Night Ferry Cars that were located by some of our members. The new cars can be viewed at their respective pages; '3803 F', '3984 F' and '3789F' which has reportedly been scrapped.
- Five new websites have been added to the 'Links' page.
- The IRPS will be publishing a book in the Autumn celebrating the 75th anniversary of The Night Ferry. The project will be led by Mr Chris Elliott. Information regarding the book can be found on the 'Homepage'.
