Join us over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend at Ferry Meadows to see the Progress on The Night Mail Museum Project.

Join us for a ride on our 100 year old pump trolley in the yard or on the recently built Overton Miniature Railway*. Great fun for both the young and the young at heart!

We’ll have our mail coaches open to explore, as well as the recently acquired cab of a modern mail train so you can learn and experience how the post has been moved on the rails from the 1840’s right through to the present day.

Also find out about London’s mysterious secret underground line that never carried any passengers, but transported thousands of letters every day.

Whilst you break your journey, why not pop into our newly refurbished station shop or burn off some steam in the country park.

Simply get off the train at Ferry Meadows Station. Entry to the site is free!

Atttractions include:

• Mark 1 travelling post office coaches on display and open for exploration and inspection
• Class 325 cab open. Get a driver's eye view for the first time on the NVR
• Underground Post Office Railway electric unit on display
• American Alco 801 under restoration and on display in the yard
• Pump trolley rides in the yard*
• Overton Miniature Railway in operation (This may not operate all weekend, however we will endeavour to run this as regularly as possible)
